Spare Time Des Moines: Premier Pizza & Entertainment Spot in West Des Moines

We had an absolutely amazing time, and I want to give a big shoutout to Kay, Candy, Kaylee, and Omari! They all went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience from start to finish. Everyone was so friendly, professional, and helpful, and they truly made our time there special and unforgettable. Thank you all for making our visit such an amazing time!

We've had our church leadership Christmas party here 3 different years and it's always been great! The food is very reasonably priced, and if you come earlier in the evening you'll benefit from happy hour pricing on a lot. The staff was great even when their earlier shift failed to tell them we were coming in. They handled themselves very well. There are lots of activities to enjoy too! We always get in at least one round of laser tag.

Spare Time in Des Moines is hands down one of the best spots for a fun night out! The atmosphere is clean, modern, and super welcoming. The bowling lanes are well-maintained, and everything runs smoothly. The staff is friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed.

Free filtered water and cups easily accessible. With some stuff being out of service, there was still plenty to do. Despite the dense crowd initially, there was a comfortable cycle of people leaving, and new people coming. Seemingly ample parking for as busy as it appeared. Helpful staff. Good laser tag environment and equipment.

Overall was a good experience. The only three downfalls was 1. The lady at the front desk was rude. 2. When going to change my daughter's diaper we had to go clear across the building and the only place that had a changing table was in the accessible stall and it was in use. For a family friendly place I'd expect at least one other changing table and it not to be in a stall. 3. Our balls kept getting stuck on lane 15. We were in the elite room which was nice for my sensory friendly daughter. We had the chicken tenders and tater tots for an app and they were delicious.

Very personable staff. Always making sure everyone is enjoying themselves. 50% off when we went in on Tuesday. Party rooms available, laser tag great for parties 10 people needed to play. Bowling and this place is affordable!!!! Totally enjoyed our first experience here. We will definitely be back.

So we didn't eat here when visiting just came to play the games. Good amount for the size of the place the only thing the prices for the game seem high. Otherwise we had a good time playing the games.

Bowling here was so much fun! And, they also have a pretty decent arcade! I really enjoyed the variety of games and the lanes seem to be pretty well-maintained. There are ramps for children to use to build up their skill of lining up the balls. They're located at the ends of the ball-return lift. The staff is always available to help if you need anything. And, I love all of the game options you can choose on the screen when you bowl. We had just eaten lunch before coming here so we didn't experience the restaurant aspect but definitely have heard good things! I also thought the prices for everything was super fair. Not inflated like most other bowling joints.
